    As said to the topic, well my question is can you really create a "professional" surround sound with this software?

    Acid Pro, and Vegas are a good place to start. There are others like Maven3D, and a few Steinberg apps that work well also.
    Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.

    Adobe Audition will work fine for creating a 5.1 mix. I've done it several times with great results.
