mpeg2-video with ffmpeg

greetings,

everytime i just encode a video (vob disabling sound or plain m2v file) the resulting file is a muxed mpeg which i have to demux again. is there a trick to have just a plain .m2v with ffmpeg (QT disabled)?

indeed, i also tried three different profiles and the strange thing is that even a m2v (video only, no audio) file encoded without audio option is muxed.
