No noise on computer, a lot of noise on TV

I am nearly finished creating a family DVD with music my father recorded. However, I have one audio file that is kicking me in my testicles. It will play fine on the computer but not on a set top TV/DVD player. The computer has a SoundBlaster Audigy2 card with Altec Lansing 4.1 surround sound. On the TV the song has a lot of noise/clipping during the drum solo. This file, originally a *.wma, file, was edited in Adobe Premier (as were all of the others) by normalizing the audio gain and then exported using Main Concept to a file with the *.mpa extension. I have downloaded the Trial version of Goldwave software to further edit this file following your suggestions. Thanks for any and all input.

I would advise not doing this.

This is mpeg audio. Not all regions support it correctly.

You are better off converting it to LCPM or AC3.

It is sods law but that is the way it is.

Plus have you burned it in Nero, tmpgenc dvd author or something else to bypass compliance?

Thanks for your reply mark.
After I convert all of the audio files to mpa from wav, I use Sonic MyDVD with the slide shows to use the mpa audio files. Sonic MyDVD then converts the files to Dolby Digital (AC3) when I burn a DVD folder onto the harddrive. I then add some additional data to a directory called "Slideshow" for use by other family members on their computers.
I then use Sonic Record Now Deluxe to burn the DVD folder on the hard drive to a DVDR disc.
The audio of 25 out of 26 slideshows sound great no matter where they are played. It is just that one file that is either too loud that it is producing noise/clipping on the drum solo with symbols. Thanks for your input, sorry for my long winded follow up reply.
