I ripped the DVD with DVD Decryptor, Then opened it using DVDShrink (latest version) and it Automatically set the compressions so that the whole DVD would fit a 4.7GB Disc. Well then I tried to do some custom compression and now can't get it to go back to the 4.7GB size when I set everthing to Auto Compression.

I tried closing DVD Shrink and open it again and load the movie but it seems to remember the settings. Can someone tell how I can get it do the Auto Compression to get back to 4.7GB size?

Also how can I get DVDShrink to reopen a DVD from HD as though doing it for the first time? (i.e. where does it store settings for each DVD, which I can delete?)

Already looked in Preference and couldn't see any setting to reset so that orignal compressions are set.

then try using a older version of dvdshrink, some have problems using the latest version.

I also had the older version and did not see anything in the preference to start over on a DVD. May be I might not have explained the issue properly, but I'm just trying to get to the stage as though I'm opening the DVD files for the first time and DVD Shrink calculates the compression automatically to the 4.7GB size. Once you make compression changes it obviously storing that info somewhere so I knew where that is maybe I can delete that.

I use DVD2ONE and sometimes DVDShrink (though mostly DVD2ONE) but either way I use a total size of 4400MB

Pushing more is just not worth the risk of getting "edge-of-disc" errors.

A full DVD-R/+R is only approximately 4480MB and 4400MB is more than close enough.

I set target size to 4,300MB in Preferences(max. is 4,464MB).
The analysis file is kept in the Application Data folder(Explorer->Windows or Program Files folder).
