Hey all, I keep getting this strange message when I occasionally perform a Xvid encode using VirtualDub. I'm not sure what's causing this, or even what it means. The message is as follows:
Dub: I/O thread has not cycled for 10 seconds -- possible livelock. (Thread location: 013A1108)
Does anybody know what causes this error to occur? It's not something that pops up all the time, but so far it's occured in a 1 minute encode where I was testing filters using black and white footage, and a 1 hour long encode I made of a mix of live-action and cartoon footage.

don't worry about it. you probably were multitasking when it was running.
i get it all the time and have not had one problem with the final product. -
Ah, I was wondering what was causing that. I did access a few programs while the video was being processed, so that must have caused it.
Thanks for your help,
Eldric
