  1. Is there a way to improve picture quality on a 17" lcd monitor when watching dvds on powerdvd5? Running 9700pro. Games look great, pictures look great, internet pages look great. Divx and xvid looks great too. DVD or MPEG2 files--looks fuzzy and out of focus. Tempted to buy a hardware based mpeg2 decoder card with overlay function to see if that improves the picture. Any suggestions? lcd supports up to 1280x1024 60hz on vga output (no DVI).

    Hmm. Interesting problem. Can't say I have heard of such a thing before. This is just a guess but try playing with the de-interlacing settings in Configuration>Video>Advanced.
