    I've had no luck playing any type of format in this player. Dvd's Work in the computer, but never in the 2109. Tried many media brands to
    Anyone have this unit? any tips?

    I have a 3109 and I have never found anything but commercial DVD's that would play on it. Good player otherwise. Mine is a 2 disk version.

    Sorry, won't work. I had the 2109 and it would never play any burned disc I tried (I have a +R burner so I can't comment on -R). Gawd that made me so mad that after blowing all that money on a new PC I had to get a new DVD player as well.... Oh well, they're so cheap now anyway.

    I have nothing profound to say, so I'll just mention some things I really like (in no particular order): Tivos, Audis, Isuzu Troopers, Canon camcorders, Macs.

    I suspected that, but wanted to be sure. I've tried + & - R & rw. Well, any suggestions on a new dvd player? Thanks
