I've heard so many good things about this brand I thought I'd give them a shot but the couple of (reliable) places I know for didks in the UK don't seem to offer them.
    Anyone know a source?
    Many thanks,

Many thanks, I'll check it out.
I take it you're a fan of the brand, right?
    EDIT:
    Whoa!
    Shit!
    1.50GBP-ish each!!!!
Didn't realise they'd be so expensive!

I think you will find that they are 75pence each plus V.A.T. and of course postage. I am quite happy with the ones I have, I am burning them at 2X on a Pioneer 06.

The Verbatim 4x Pastel discs are made by Taiyo Yuden in Japan, they Have a TYG01 code, i use these and they are very good, really nice looking disc too.

They can be bought in the UK at quite a few online sites, the one i use is 85p at the moment.

Yeah, I was quoting the x4 price, not the x2

Although on their site they say it has an MCC code, DVDinfopro on my PC shows them as TYG01 coded, i think it's just a typing error at their site, all the information on these discs i can find say thay are manufactured in Japan by Taiyo Yuden.

  9. I bought some discs of this ebay guy, burnt about seven from the ten i bought flawless burns, and play well in my standalone. Anyways no doubting the quality (packets say made in Japan and TY code in DVD info Pro). I paid around 8.50 quid for 10 seem a good price (although its an auction).
