I bought this DVD player to watch DIVX files on TV and the DIVX files do look excellent. The problem I was having was "stumbling" in playback.
It was random and seemed tied to bright scenes. I was using DIVX 5,Itried several versions of DIVX 5 with the same result.
I downloaded DIVX 3 & 4 and found that DIVX 4 files play smoothly.
At least in my expierence this player doesn't like DIVX 5.
Another problem is AC3 audio,no file I've made with AC3 audio will even load, the player justs locksup. The exception are files made with AutoGK using AC3,they play. AutoGK will install an option to make it's output compatible with ESS chipsets, which this player uses. AutoGK however does not allow you to set the vertical resolution anf it always auto-selects a height which corrupts 4:3 aspect ratio.
