Looked at the compatibility list and searched the forum - not much info. My current player (Toshiba SD-2109) is exceedingly fussy about what it will play, so it's time to get something new that will play all my home-made videos. This one looks good because of the price (under £40). I'd prefer DVD+R/RW compatibility to go with my 8x writer but as long as DVD-R works reliably that would be a big improvement.

Can anyone confirm what exactly this player will handle? Also, the only link I have for the website is http://www.a-mw.co.uk which redirects me to a German site complaining that I shouldn't enter server IP addresses directly!

Any other feedback would be welcome.
