  1. I recently bought a Conceptronic firewire PCI card, installed on my PC, and seems that all is recognized.
I plugged my Panasonic miniDV digital cam, and it makes a noise informing it's recognized.
But I can't capture with >IE port. Can't choose it, anyway.
I have Ulead Video Studio 6, bundled with the card, and doesn't recognize the firewire port, o so it seems. I only can capture with my ATI AIW capture card.

    Can anyone help me?

Make sure the camera is plugged in and turned on before starting up VideoStudio 6.

If the camera is recognized and Video Studio 6 is up and running, select Capture mode. Then select DV in the Capture format. It should automatically select the camera and fire wire port.
    Hello.

  5. XP makes a little noise recognizing the camera, but when I try to select the firewire input it doesn't let me do so.

Do I have to activate something else? I suppose it must be something very easy, but I can't manage...
