how to see jpg on aiwa xd-ax1 dvd player

i got an aiwa xd-ax1 dvd player and i looked in the dvd player section and it said my dvd player will play,show jpg files...

i burned some jpg photos and a cd-r and it said incorrect disc, but it plays cd-r's and vcd..

am i doing something wrong ? do i have to burn the cd-r a certain way with the jpg photo files..

or is there another way i can get to see the files on my dvd player??

i dont have the manual, i read it on this website in dvd player compatibility and user comments.

if it doesnt play jpg file is there a workaround. i know it player vcd's?
