Coby 515 problems with DVD+R

For some reason it doesn't play DVD+Rs. It says Bad Disk. The same DVD+Rs play fine in other player like Terapin (from Frys).

yea those coby players SUCK!!!!!!!.. fry's had em for like 30 bucks right? so we picked one up because just maybe it might be a diamond in the rough like the apex players.. meaning.. plays everything.. great reader.. a lot of connections.. (optical/coaxial.. component, etc)

anyways i go to test it with a dvdr.. i tried a few.. burned at 4x memorex.. and a few GQ burned at 2x.. they played.. but towards sometime in the movie.. it just frooze and then stopped.. so im like ok no big deal.. maybe it was just a one time thing..

so then i play a REAL DVD.. cat in the hat.. int he middle of hte movie. same thing happens.. starts skipping and then just stops.. after that i knew it was goin back.. and thats exactly wat i did..

the Terapin player u mentioned IS MUCH MUCH BETTER.. it still doesnt read as good as the apex dvd players.. but it plays.. it might skip a few seconds intot he movie.. but it will catch up and play things fine..
