    greetings major,

wanted to try out your new features but on every vob - i tried three different vobs so far - i try to convert using the fastSVCD preset i get this messages and the multiplexing errors (**ERROR: [mplex] MUX STATUS: Frame data under-runs detected!)

here's the log from the mpeg2 encoding (omitting the rest of the buffer underflow messages):

Encoding started on Sat Apr 10 18:58:56 CEST 2004
    ## Component Manager: attempting to find symbols in a component alias of type (regR/carP/x!bt)
    Input #0, yuv4mpegpipe, from 'pipe:':

    Stream #0.0: Video: rawvideo, yuv420p, 480x576, 25.00 fps
    Output #0, rawvideo, to '/Volumes/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/movie.mpv':
    Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg2video (hq), 480x576, 25.00 fps, q=2-5, 2500 kb/s

The multiplexed video has either stuttering sound or video.

    thanks for info
    y.

  2. Can you send me a link to download a small chapter of your source file, so as I can test with it.

  3. Possibly the problem is arising as you are using an anormally low value for the max quantizer. Please keep quantizer values as in the preset.

  5. ffmpeg VCD/SVCD bitrate control has still some issues, resulting in buffer problems and high bitrate peaks. When this happens, try disabling "decode with quicktime" and see if your player accepts the output.
