command line question

I need to know if there is a command line to delete C: while windows is running? Revenge can be a beautiful thing.

If windows is running likely it will not let you delete the windows files. Its called Windows File Protection.

Of course the version fo windows matters, as does the fact that I cant think of a single reason not to just format a drive the normal way.

And it would be running XP Home Edition.

Not saying their is not a way, but with Windows XP it should not allow itself to be completely deleted.

Can't be done. I've tried it. However, if you have another computer, you might be able to set the drive you want to format to slave and use the second computer to format the 'slave' drive. Lot of trouble though.

I know your problem, Windows XP doesn't cooperate as well as Win98 did. I miss the old "format C:/s".

method 1
Use a boot floppy or a bootable CD
Place a blank ghost image on it
use the autoexec.bat to start ghost and use the blank image.
It will clear the HDD in less than a few seconds (CD method)
By time they realize what's happening, it's already done

method 2
create a script that set an AT command to format the drive at next boot up
It will not delete everything, but enough to require a new install from scratch
