    I've had it for about 3 months and flashed it to 2.23 right out of the box.
    I started using dvdshink 3 beta and moved on to dvdshink 3.15.
    I rip to hdd first than use nero 551054 to burn.
    I have standardized on Maxcel dvd+r media and all is well.
    HDBurn to TDK media OK as well.

    I noticed that awhile back Optorite stopped offering the dos firmware versions ... whats up with that ?

    Hey,I just got this drive yesterday,it's the DD0201.I flashed the firmware to the newest version 2.6 tonight.I've only burnt 1 DVD so far it burnt at 2x on 4x media but other than that it plays great.

    Had it for about 8 months. Best burner I've had so far, even after over 800 burns.
