Need help - Vsonic L 103 Divx player

Hi!

I am a new owner of Vsonic L 103 Divx player but i dont have any history with this. I have 3 questions i would like to ask you.

1) I was wondering how i can connect the subtitles in this player with avi,mpeg files?

2) Some movies that work properly on my pc dont work properly on the player. ex. sometimes there is no sound or the picture or they are disorted. Is there anything i can do to fix this. I thought that maybe i could use VirtualDub but i am not sure what should i do?

3) Also i asked the store merchant about the firmware hack to remove the macrovision copyprotection. But they said they didnt do anything like that. Is there anyway i can do this myself??

The information on this DIVX player is very limited. I only know that it's actually not produced by Vsonic. BBK produces it. Try a search for that brand's website. You could possibly try to re-encode the DIVX files. They're are tools to the left of the screen.

If this was at Toronto's Pacific mall they're full of shit. As they hack Macrovision on all the Vsonic players. Sorry I can't help. But the fact that Vsonic is now outsourcing it's electronics has turned me off on them.
