    Have you tried different media? Keep to branded ones to see if it is a case of bad media. What about RW both + and -, do you have problems with those? Run a cleaning disc several times to see if it alleviates the problem. Another case could be the burning software. Try a different one.
    It could very well be a case of the laser failing. If the above does not work. RMA would be the next logical choice.
