    I need a BIOS update. Can someone please help me find them, Really ive tried.

  2. you should be able to get them off ASUS's website .. www.asus.com just do a search for your motherboard. Their quick download search seams to be offline right now though.

    Do whatever you want, if it doesn't boot, pop the battery out and it will reset or short the jumper

    No, if the flash screws up, popping the battery out will not reset to the old BIOS.

    The old BIOS is no longer there.

    If this machine lets you see the BIOS string on boot, 30 characters or so across the bottom of the boot screen, when it's counting the RAM or whatever, write it down, even if it tskes a dozen resets, unless "Pause" button works.

    Go to motherboardhomeworld.org, I think is the name, and enter the BIOS string. It will tell you where to go for a new BIOS, if it is in their database..

    DL and flash, per their instructions.

    This may help you go to AIDA32 website and download the Enterprise System Utility run it and click on computer/summary scroll down and it will give you your BIOS info, the date of it and will give you a link to check for updates. This is how I checked and updated mine hope it will work for you. here is the link.
