I have bought the Liteon LVD-2002 6 monds ago, becuase it is a good player and they promised me THE update (for subtitels). But still there isn't one. And no body knows why.

Also I think that a lot of people have also the LVD-2002 with the same problem as I.

Maybe if al those people send emails to Liteon, with the same question (" when do you release the new firmware for the LVD-2002? ") They will notice that there is a lot of people asking for it, so they have to make it ( i hope). Becuase the player is fine but it would be better with subtitle support and some other updates.

I will send those (lazy) people a email every day with the same question I hope you will do so, becuase otherwise it would take a long time before they will do it.

Also on the lite on site they answers to the question:

Our pure player can only support the composed subtitle of the image .The support of separate subtitle is currently not available. We have worked on this for a period, no update schedule of firmware yet, but shall come soon!

They say "but shall come soon" and this has been on there site a few monds now ! .
And "We have worked on this for a period" is bullshit !! If they ( the people who also brought the other firmware) would worked on it, it would be out already. I would cost them max. 1 week to finish it i think.

Also isn't there someone out there who can make crack the code (firmware) and make it support subtitels or make a own firmware update.
Becuase it is posible for the LVD-2002 becuase some Japanese site has the firmware already (but buggy).

I hope all the LVD-2002 owners will email and help so those lazy people from Liteon will finally do something ( i hope). Just spam there asses full with email questions
