    Does anyone know of a good alternetive MPEG-1/2 multiplexer to TMPGENC (TMPGENC Takes almost an hour for me) that will maintain my a dvd compliant MPEG-2 format.

    I've never tried it before but I believe bbmpeg can multiplex, as can Womble MPEG2 VCR. Without knowing your computer specs I tend to doubt either will multiplex any faster than TMPGEnc.

    I tried the MPEG-VCR from the Womble link the other day and had good results from it, although it took approximately 1/2 hour for a 700Mb movie.
