dvd/vcr combo that plays vcd

does anyone know of a dvd/vcr combo that'll play vcd/svcd? i'm getting tired going to all these stores and websites searching. i've went to nearly every store and websites that i can, but none of them shows that it supports (s)vcd.

would it be that altho vcd is not printed on the box/equipment, but it still supports it?

Go to the stores with a vcd and see if plays and then you can buy it.

Zenith XBV343, excellent player and for <$140. I have had mine for almost a year now and it plays DVD+/-RW, VCD, wma, mp3, and jpeg. Also has progressive scan! To get the VCD you will have to do the remote hack(listed on this site) and it will work forever. It's also one of the very few combo units that will let you reocrd DVD(non-copyprotected) to VHS. You may have to do some more research about SVCD, I never tried it on mine.
