I am trying to use DVDMaestro version 2.9 and I am getting this Error Message on start up : "Real Time Prewiew functionality will not be available because no decoders have been detected"

I do not know if this is the reason but the programm does not accept any of the video files I have try to import as Media Asset.
If for example I try to import a .mpa file for sound everything is OK. but when I try to import a .m2v or even a .mpg file of video then it reject it with the following Error Message : "Media Not Supported Error (0xc10b0002)"

Your Netstream 2000 decoder card is either not installed, or the drivers for it aren't installed. If you bought it with the software only decoding option, your Cinemaster drivers could be corrupt. I'm sure a search will turn something up.

Your video file isn't supported. Make sure it is DVD Compliant (look at the glossary link or What Is DVDR on your left). Check the FPS, bitrate, and resolution.

I have produced my .m2v file from a dvd-rw disc with the help of IfoEdit.
This .m2v file, is acceptable from other editing programs so this means that it must be recognisable by DVDMaestro too.

    Any ideas ???

are you sure it is a true m2v? i have had some problems (very rare) when a file that was claimed to be an m2v actually still had the audio file with it (mpeg). Put your m2v in a demulxtiplxer (tmpg has one) and if their is an audio track it will show. Or rename your m2v back t an mpg and play it, see if it has sound still. If it does thats is your problem

Also as far as i know ifo edit does not demux

I am sorry Mazinz, I was meaning VobEdit not Ifoedit.

And I am sure that it is not sound at all. I have tried it with your way but I knew this before because VobEdit produced fron the VTS_01_1.VOB two files : One .m2v with the video and one .mpa with the audio.

perhaps it not a standard resolution or frame rate that maestro likes .. or a wrong GOP ..
