LiteOn lvd-2002 format Compatibility

Hey everyone! I've read a lot of excellent reviews on the liteon lvd-2002 divX player, and have ordered one.

My question is, Does anyone know if it will play a mode 2 DivX disc?
also, will it play a divx file that has gmc enabled in the encoding options?

I picked mine up from purolator today, and it is.... AMAZING. I Love it!
It plays all my DivX, mpeg files but, sadly, and as I suspected, it does not play mode 2 burned movie files.

The lvd-2002 is amazing, I tested svcd's dvd's, divx, mpeg, and even files encoded using GMC played fine. I highly recommend this player, amazing video quality, crystal clear audio, high compatibility, and ease of use make this a must have player for all Divx enthusists. seriously guys... I'm enthused.

Having this player for a few weeks now, You'll be pleased to know that it plays XviD video with the same performance as DivX files. If you are an encoder, Do not use Virtual Dub mod to encode your files, several files I re-encoded using Vdub Mod froze up in my LVD2002. Use Virtual Dub for all encoding. ver 1.5.1 seems to be the most stable encoder. It also plays all VBR mp3 audio perfectly. (The sound quality it puts out is amazing!)
