    If just changing avatars, why make a post to check it? Aren't they global, so everytime you make a change, all you have to do is look at an old post to see how it looks? I know signatures and member status work this way.
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

    Yes they are global, but that's not what I was wanting to check. I was needing a place where the background color of my posts were different, such as here where they are dark and light grey. I wanted this because the bubble in my avatar is translucent, thus showing the background color behind it. That's why I needed a test post.

    Is it a 24 bit png? If it is, then there is no difference on ie6.
