    I HAVE TRIED TO MAKE A BACK UP OF A DVD WITH SMART RIPPER ,DVD SHRINK & DVD X COPY THEY WRITE TO THE DISK ( I USE NERO EXPRESS SOFTWEAR & NEC + DVD WRITER) THEY PLAY ON MY PC BUT WONT PLAY ON MY DVD PLAYER? I HAVE DOWNLOADED FILMS & PUT THEM ON DVD THEY PLAY . MY MATE GAVE ME SOME FILMS ON DVD R & THE PLAY ? HELP PLS

    first of all, lose the caps. second of all, downloading movies is illegal and shouldnt be talked about here.

    give us some more details about how you are burning the dvds. you said the movies you downloaded will burn to dvd and play fine, then how did you burn those?

    i write them with nero vision express .just put in disk & click burt to dvd other than that not sure wot you mean ? only new to this dvd burning
