IMATION DVD-R

Has anyone any experinace with imation brand dvd-r? Only place I have seen them is at Staples here in Canada. Price is right but I know the saying you get what you pay for!!!!

I've used at least 20 and 2 or 3 have failed, but I can't say for sure if it was the disk's fault...

I bought a box of 50 from BestBuy and they turned out to be Ritek G03. They are generally considered to be very good. However, just tonight I had to toss one because it had a visible bad spot on the dye layer. I burned it anyway but it froze when the player reached that spot. I inspected the rest of the disks, they seem to be fine.

hmmmm 2/3 out of 20 is not bad odds methinks And if they turn out to be ritech well well so much the better for me........ It would be like "happy b'day to me"
