Need to re-author a dvd+rw from tv to cut adverts,on my mac!

I use an eMac with superdrive and usually if backing up a dvd i would use DVDbackup > DVD2One > Toast

In this case i have recorded a film from tv using my philips dvd recorder which recorded it onto a DVD+RW. Problem is i started it recording like 5 mins before movie started and it has ad breaks in the middle.

what i want to do is re-author it to start the movie in the right place and cut out all the ad breaks one by one, then burn onto a DVD-R.

what programs can i use, for the mac, is there any guides on here i can use and how easy is it to do!!
