I just recently bought a casio thermal printer for cd's and dvd's and it makes pretty nice titles on the discs and I was wondering if there is anything I can use to erase the titles that I have on my old discs that I wrote on with sharpie markers without damaging the data on the discs so I can redo them with the thermal printer?

99% isopropanol alcohol will do the job, just dont drink it if you get thirsty.
You also can polish it off with a dab of toothpaste, I use it to fix my spelling mistakes.

I use toothpaste for cleaning corrosion and spills off pcb boards, works great for that.
Thanks for the tips, appreciate it.
