You need to study the DVD Rip and Author sections for the program guides you want to use. Yes, that's what you need.
    Hello.

  5. Before you get crucified for not reading, or even looking at the page, look to your left under "How To" and "Guides" not hard at all.
    Blah, blah, blah

Then you are in luck. Plenty of guides and reviews of tools are there for your reading pleasure.

I spent 6 months reading before I bought, downloaded, or installed anything. I suggest you take some time on your own before asking for any help for now.

Yep, reading the guides on yr left will do the trick!!

DVDShrink is an excellent choice for a newbie... Just read some guides on it!! There are plenty around...

    Good Luck!

What Hiptune said. I also spent six months just reading up on everything. You can probably cut that down since you already got the burner. Just using this (and doom9's) website, I was ripping, encoding, authoring and burning right out of the box with my 106. It's more complicated than I thought it would be, and it is a bit intimidating when you first start, but give it awhile and just pick one thing at a time to learn.

I recommend backing up. Figure out DVD Decrypter (it's easy) and you're on your way.
