adding subtitles on a DVD without subtitles ?

Hello everybody,

I have been looking on this forum and others, but found no answer.

I have a DVD with a feature and a short film.
The short has no subs at all.

I would like to create the subtitles on the short and possibly not lose any quality.

I have ripped the full DVD on my HD.

Is there a way to do subtitles directly on a VOB file ?

I was unsuccesful with SUBTITLE WORKSHOP, because it doesn't recognize the VOB file.

Please help me....

Hi,

I can't advise you how to create the subtiltles but from what I know it looks like a major pain in the ass to me. If you want to know how to "insert" them in your DVD let me know.
