Flicker in the duplicate, No Flicker in original

The track in my original VCD has no problem in playback in a standalone VCD player.

However, the track that I burned it to a CD-R, it has flicker in the playback. I have tried both Mitsubishi and Arita (a brandless) CD-R to test out the quality of media. Both produce the same quality. No difference opting for branded media.

Here is the my process of creating a VCD.
1. convert the dat file to mpg using vcdgear.
2. Run the mpg to check if is OK.
3. Burn using Roxio VCD creator.

Please enlighthen. How can I burn an exact track of the original (I do not want CloneCD)?

Flicker means the picture and sound skip a few frames. Or that particular track is not moving smoothly for 0.5 second.

Sounds like the VCD player does not like your media. I could be wrong, but have you tried other media ( cr-rw, or other cd-r brands with diffrent colored bottoms? ).

There are 20 tracks in CDR. Only 3 tracks are affected. The original could not be corrupted because it played well in the VCD player.
