LVD 2002 DISCOUNTINUED TOO!!

Yep, first the lvd-2001 now the lvd 2002. I was looking for some prices for the lvd 2002 when I discovered this. Mvave has the lvd 2002 on sale for $109.00, and in the description in it says Discontinued on 12/16...

Not to worry. Even if this unit is discontinued (unknown at this point) they will still be supporting it with new firmware. Same goes for the 2001, as they responded to someone else's inquiry on that subject. If all the units use the same f/w, they will just update all of them at the same time. There is also a possibility that the new 2010 model will be a complement to the 2002, and both will be carried - not uncommon for manufacturers to have more than one model of similar units available for purchase. The 2002 could be the lower priced, more affordable model and the 2010 the higher priced, extra featured model. Remains to be seen, but don't worry too much about support. They really can't afford to alienate their customer base of users with the large amount of 2001 and 2002's out there. Bad word of mouth would kill their sales faster than you can say "obsolete".

Yeah...you guys are getting a little bent out of shape...there will be new firmware upgrades. Hell, I think the firmware is identical for both the 2001 and the 2002...which would lead me to believe that it will be for the 2010. Relax :P
