When DVD Shrink first reads a DVD it must create a temp file because after the file is created, it doesn't have to read that DVD again before it didplays it's main window. I was wondering if anyone knows where those temporary files are stored. I am curious as to how much space they take up and if I can/should delete them.

    Thanks!

They're stored somewhere in the Documents and Settings folder (Win XP). I'd have to check and see exactly where in that folder, but they're fairly small and I wouldn't worry about deleting them until you've done several hundred DVDs (even then they're insignificant compared to the temporary files on Internet Explorer and other programs that use temp files).

    The files are stored in:
    C:\Documents and settings\{username}\Application Data\DVDShrink3.0.

They range from 3KB up to about 1 MB Depending on if you do a deep analysis on them.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks! You guys are great. I have 112 files in my temporary folder and they take up a total of about 6 megabytes so I think I'll just leave them in there.
