DVD-R's and the Sony DVP-S725D

Hi Guys

I have tried burning DVD-R with my burner and playing them on the above stand alone DVD player.

The Discs I used were orange Bulkpaq 4x.

DVD writer Liteon LDW-411S

I used Clone DVD and I keep getting the error message c13-00 which means I need to clean the DVD-R. Tried that and it still won't work!!

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced problems with this player.

It plays DVD+R's fine.

i have the same dvd player, and havent had a problem with dvd-r's. i used clonedvd with dvd-r to backup wrong turn twice, no problems with either.

I've got the 535 and it's very fussy about media.

Do a forum search for my name and keywords like 535, Nan-ya and e-Proformance (big hints there !!) and you will probably find quite a few posts which list which discs seem to work well with the Sony's as a whole.
