Samsung 807 player 1/2 frame problem

My kids have my trusted old Sammy 807 but it plays back on some discs with half the screen slightly lagging behind.

Any one any idea why this happens?

I dont want to get rid of it as it only happens on some discs and its such a good player still.

Sounds like you DVD player is dying.

No one wants to spend money when they don't need too but you do realize that you can get a decent name brand DVD player these days for around $100 USD right?

it may be dieing but its one of 3 player I have and the thing is, it works fine with most but is a little fussy about some discs and I wondered if there is a reason other player owners may have found out why?

and we use pounds here
