    Hello All,

After testing vcdeasy with succes I bought the commercial version 1.17. Now I try to make a vcd with still pictures which are converted to mpeg exactly as described in the manual 'How to make a still pictures VideoCD (v1.1.6)'.

I also added a menu still picture with 7 entries. Total 1325 pictures and 1 menu picture. I did everything according to the manual 'How To Make a Still Pictures VideoCD With Menu (part 1) (v1.1.6)'

After hitting the GO button I first have the message that the creation of the XML file is succeeded. After that I get the error message 'vcdxbuild.exe execution failed. Too many files/directories in the iso9660 part of the video cd. A video cd has a small table of content for the iso9660 files.'

So I only get a xml file and no vcdbuild.exe or cue/bin files or whatever. I cannot find any details on the internet about this errormessage.

Can somebody help me ? What am I doing wrong? All the settings in vcdeasy seem to be correct. It uses nero aspi.
    Greetings
    Paul

My problem is fixed in the meantime thanks to the excellent support from the VCD-Easy guys.

It appears that one should NOT add too many files in the ISO file system part of the VideoCD. This is a mistake in the manuals, where was stated that one could store the picture original files on the same VideoCD. I stored about 340 jpg files on the same CD. A videocd can not hold so many files in its ISO file system part... because of the VideoCD specifications was explained to me.

You can store a few files, but not so many as I did. After I deleted the jpg files in the ISO file system part, I could burn the vcd without any problems. After that I burned many more, its working very good and fast.

The guys from VCD-Easy promised to modify their manuals on that point.

Reading the error message you have, I am not sure whether you have the same problem I did.

    Bye
    Greetings

Actually this problem your describing hasn't been the issue..
I added 1 large 750Mb mpeg file.. and tried to make a SVCD movie.
    It failed.

Then I tried to add a smaller mpeg file, and it was OK.

So I guess there where something wrong with the file size..

Although - vcdeasy has managed to handle such large files before.
