    The dvd drive in my mustek v520 croaked. So I have opened it and voided my warranty so before I threw it in the thrash I got an idea.

    I want to replace the cd drive with a hard drive and dedicate it to playing mp3s which it can do.

    Problem I am not sure where to begin or if this is even possible.
    I need to know what kind of format to put on that hard drive if it is possible.

    Any help or direction is appreeciated. Thanks.
