EMTEC DVD+R burning problem (or maybe software problem?)

i everybody.
I hope someone will be able to help me. My problem:

I was trying to backup Tubular Bells 2 and 3. Originally it is a flipper, and there is no problem to record it on 2 DVD-Rs. First I backed them up to HD with DVDDecrypter. I have a LiteOn ldw 401S and I burned backups with Nero 6 (the latest revision available). The result was horrible. TB 2 was freezing a lot of times, TB 3 was hardly readable (my standalone player is Saba DSA 100e). I burned both on EMTEC DVD+Rs. Then I made another try and burned the same with Sonic RecordNow Max 4.6 (came with burner). TB 2 plays OK, TB 3 has some freezes (again on EMTECs).
Anybody knows what's going on? I'll appreciate your comments.

I understand that in this case "cheap" is not exactly the matter of price. And this is what I see when I get media info:
Emtec DVD+R 4.7GB ... RICOHJPN

That is why I am surprised. Never had problems with Ricoh media.
