audio overdubbing

whats the best way to do this.my freind has a band and have made a vcd but the audio is really distorted,however they have the audio recorded to mini disc at good quality.whats the best way to overdub and sync the good audio over the bad?

TMPGEnc and Gold Wave. Make a wave file with audio you want to use. In TMPGEnc, use the video as video input, and your new audio as audio input. Hope this helps!

worked a treat thanks riped the audio off then used acid 3.0 to match the waves up then re-encoded it through tmpgenc
