The latest version of AnyDVD software will allow one to adjust the drive speed of both the player and writer, there are 3 different speeds. My question is this, will adjusting these speeds all the way up or all the way down effect the video/audio quality of the burned copy of a movie DVD? Thank you.

    Depends on the drive!

Gurm thanks for reply, I am using Pioneer DVD 105 Rom and Plextor PX708A writer, windows xp, athlon 2600xp, 512 ddr ram. I am more concerned with quality vs. speed but if running max speed with AnyDVD settings will not affect quality then I would like to speed things up but not at the reduction of quality. Thanks for your help and advice.

With a Pioneer DVD-ROM or a Plextor DVD burner, assuming the rest of your system is fast enough, you can run fullspeed with no problems at all.

The settings might ALSO be to reduce noise, I dunno how LOUD the Pioneer is at full speed.
