    Hi ev'body!

    I would like to know, whether it is possible to let FinalCutPro 3 start AUTOMATICALLY a recording (which comes from TV via my DataVideo DAC-100 and goes to my Apple Mac G4).

    So that FCP3 would work like a video recorder...

    My hardware:
    Mac G4 450 MHz
    Mac OS 9 + X
    FinalCutPro 3
    Datavideo DAC-100

    You might try using applescript to accomplish this...

    http://www.apple.com/applescript/GUI/
