QuickTime 6.3: MPEG-2 Playback Component

For sum reason, my Software Update doesn't pick this up. Does anyone have the updater lying around?

yeah mine doesn't either. I did a full reinstall and expected it to just show up...

In order for Software Update to pick up on QuickTime MPEG2 Component it must be located in the proper folder and that is /System/Library/QuickTime/ not /Library/QuickTime

It is in the right folder, Software Update still doesn't pick it up.

Any other suggestions?

I would really appreciate it, since the Software Updater doesn't do it for me, either. Not to 6.3 (after re-install, though it DID update before), and not to 6.4 (which I would really like, as well)

If it doesn't show up in Software Update, then go to "My account" in the Apple Store account you used to purchase the component, and you will be able to redownload the update again.
