nero stopped working with Sony DRX-500UL

Has anyone had this happen to them,I running XP Home...All of the sudden when I put a DVD+R,DVD+RW blanks into the drive and try to burn it says that the media is full not enough space...This just started happening.I thought it was the drive so I when to Best Buy today and Brough another DVD Drive the 510UL and it doing the same thing..I can burn with DVD XCopy and Ulead DVD Moviefactory..But nero isn't working for burning DVD.. PLs Help I am using the current Firmware for the Sony 500UL (F)

Had similar problems, but with me it would start writing then error out at the end. Can't remember the exact error message(s), but a cleanup and reinstall of Nero resolved the problem (at least temporarily) as I have not had any problems since then....

fyi: there is a Nero Clean tool out and about that does a nice job of removing Nero....

maybe you got too many writing softwares? nero 6 has bugs, try just using the software that came with your unit. also install an aspi layer like force aspi & give us all your computer specs so we have all the info
