    Look in the admin settings.
    Is it the same board? phpBB 2 is what is used here.
    I use phpBB and WebWiz (ASP, DSN-less)

    If you are the admin you can change it under the admin -> user admin -> ranks.

    I "hacked" this phpbb so users can modify their own rank/member status. Maybe you can find a mod for it here www.phpbbhacks.com .
