    Hey whats up?

I have comes across a ton of apps that will let you make a slide show dvd from your pics, but has anyone ever come across one of these apps that will allow you to make a still show instead? What i mean is using the app so i can have my pics on the screen for an infinite time and then go to the next slide by using the remote?

I know how to make one on my own using existing programs (like Maestro and dvd workshop), but workshop i believe limits things, and for those that know Maestro, linking and adding in close to 1000 pictures is no walk in the park using that program.
    thanks again----

Ulead DVDPictureshow lets you override the slide display time and advance to the next slide using the "advance" (>>|) button on the remote. You could try setting the slide interval to something really long, maybe you can get 999 seconds, which would be functionally what you want to do.

yeah thanks for the info but i had already tried that a long time ago. the problem with that one is it gives you a max of 254 seconds for a still, which is a long time, but for some reason these apps see 255 seconds as infinite, and unfortunetly they made it so you cannot set it that way. What is funny though is most of the older programs that allowed you to make a photo-vcd did allow you to have the pics on for an infinite time. I just find it funny that of all these slide show dvd apps none of them gives thee option for an infinite setting, which they easily could.

I guess you could set 254 sec and just pause when the slide is on, then >>| to the next one and pause, etc. Not exactly what you're looking for, I know.
