  1. Just downloaded beta5, and am reauthoring disc2 of dusk till dawn - feature only.

I chose reauthor, dragged over the main movie only, uncompressed, reomoved extra audio tracks.

Clicking Backup has an option to "Deep Analyze" the DVD. I chose it, and in the next window, its analyzing the video (long time) but there is one value labelled Compressed Video that varies anywhere from 25-45%. Why is it compressing anything if I've chosed no compression (and the feature only is WAY less than a 4.7gig DVD).

Just curious...I'm sure its nothing serious, but the word compression scares me when I want everything uncompressed.

    Thx in advance! Go Redskins!

I think what you might be seeing is when it does it's auto analysis, it has some things set. Look at the file size of the no compression, then look at the one underneath that says AUTO. If there is no compression, the file sizes should be the same.

The deep analysis is really only necesary if there is compression of some kind going on, and as far as I can tell with teh small amount of backups I have done to date, the deep analysis function is worth the extra time.
