Hi,
I have about 100 cd-rw 2X (not dvd-rw) and They are not recognized by my dvd burner (pionneer a105) (these cd-rw work fine in my cd-burner). Has someone tried to burn cd-rw at that speed ?
I put my cd-rw in my dvd burner and nothing happens, just like if I had put nothing.
Has someone a clue?

One more thing : my dvd burner works with cd-rw 10X (burn them at 8X
but it works)
Yeah, I had some of the old CD-RW's as well and I emailed the service center about it and they told me the firmaware in the drive reads the cd identification codes prior to any burn and will not use the ones with slower ratings than the the drives slowest burning speed.
