havent seen results but if its like the Casio cw50 then it only prints in single colour only.

There is a full colour inkjet printer Epson 900/950/960 but unfortunately its NOT available in Australia.

I am waiting for a reasonably priced cd/dvd printer to be relaeased in Aust. so I can stop using sticky labels.

I have one.

Pros:
- Very easy to use.
- Print quality is very good considering.

Cons:
- Media is expensive (3 pack is approximately $24). Each pack Will print upto 40 DVD/CDs if you only print in one area as opposed to two areas.
- Only one color can be printed at a time.

I use it instead of a sharpie. I only print one area and that allows me to print two lines of text (movie title and any other text). The results look great on the silver sided media I use. Do not purchase if you want to have fancy graphics - get an Epson 960 and appropriate printable media.

Yeah, I am planning on getting one of those TDK thermal printers soon (I don't see the Casio brand for sale here). All I need it for is basic text labelling of discs. A printer that will do the full disc surface is just overkill for me, so spending £70 on one of these little jobbies will do me fine rightly. And the refills are £5 each ... a bit cheaper than cartridges for the Epson!

BTW, you can get the Casios for around $90 shipped in the U.S. Do a froogle.com search on Casio CW-50.

They do work great if all you want to do is put a plain black title on your disk.

I needed a new printer anyway so I bought the Epson 900 which also does a very nice job of printing to printable CD/DVDR.
