  1. MY ORIGINAL POST
I need a region hack please, Zoece!!!

Anyone ever heard of the brand Zoece?

Well, my local Conn's appliance store was advertising a Zoece DP303 Proggressive scan for $49.

I had never heard of it, nor is it listed on dvdrhelp.com and a google search just brings up the Conn's store site.

Here's a link but it's not showing the local sale price:
    http://www.conns.com/webpage/show_product.php?isbn=2404

Seeing that the player was cheap, looked sleek and small, had progressive scan, and played DVD,CD,CD-R/RW,VCD,DVD+RW&MP3 I picked the bad boy up.

    I just need a region/any other hack.

I have been looking for weeks with no luck.

    Any help/news/ideas is well apreciated.

    NEW POST
After searching the web I saw similarities between the Zoece DP303 and the Norcent DP300 (same remote, manual, and back panel - except for the 15-pin connector). I tried the Norcent region code hack via the remote and it worked!!!

The hack I used was the second one (pressing 8888 from the setup screen gave me a 'version' menu)

Now I just need a Macrovision hack.

  4. Ever since the BestBuy site was updated I can't seem to find it on their site. I bought mine at a local store and it was in the area where they have the universal remotes and TV modulators and/or switch boxes. Very close to the area where they have the DVD players.

  5. I saw these things on ebay. I was wondering how exactly do they hook up, how much was the one you bought, and what is regular price?

I hook the output of my VCR to the CopyMaster and then it's output goes to my capture card, it's that simple. The device also amplifies, filters, and levels the video out from your VCR or any video device.

Bob W..."High Tech Depot" notes that both Sima SED-CM & SCC won't work with Sony VCR's. Any suggestions what else to use to copy an out of print VHS movie?
